‘Wings’ feature the markings / feathers of birds and insects. Made in collaboration with the amazing Ruth Makes Jewellery.
Each 10mm x 15mm solid oak rectangle has been individually hand painted on the front in oils before being sealed with UV resin on the front and varnish on the back.
Fitted by hand onto 70mm solid silver ear threads with solid silver wire. The threads can be worn at any length to suit the outfit you are wearing or the length of your hair.
The nature of the ear threads means that the rectangles move and twist like wings flapping through the air.
Choose from the following designs : dragonfly, kingfisher, ladybird, magpie, parrot, peacock, robin and starling
Each pair will be supplied on a back card, lovingly wrapped in hand stamped tissue paper and nestled in a handmade grey box.
Also included is a small silver polishing cloth to remove any tarnish that naturally appears on silver.
The actual physical colours of the ‘wings’ may vary slightly from the photos supplied due to the varying technology of computer screens.
